2026 Projects are underway!
Grants from ATVBC, ORCBC and ORV Fund have been approved for our 2026 planned projects.
The "Stephanie Creek Bridge" and the "Rond Creek Bridge" were an essential part of keeping the trails between Prince George and Wells safely accessible to all users.
As of July 2026, these two bridges were removed from their locations due to liability and safety issues. The new route using the Rond Creek FSR will provide access to Wells.
Ride at Your Own Risk
Use the trails located on Tabor Mountain at your own risk. Trails are built and maintained by volunteers. At times, unknown and unmarked hazards may exist.
Always ride with caution and obey all signs. Always be prepared for the unexpected, and make sure to have a "First Aid Kit" and "Recovery Equipment" with you!

September 3/4 - Viper Trail Bridges
This project was made possible with funding received from the "Outdoor Recreation Council of BC" (ORCBC). We are grateful for their financial support, which helped us complete one of our many projects this summer.
Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, the bridges have been repaired.
Bridge #1 - Redecking
With a small crew of volunteers, the bridge required two days to complete the removal of the old planks and the installation of the new planks, bullrails and signage.
Bridge #2 - Levelling
On Friday, the volunteers returned to the Viper Trail to complete the work on the first bridge, then moved to the second bridge to replace five planks, lift the bridge by 11'' to level it out. At the same time, they did some brushing and did some water bars on the trails.
A Special Thank You to Lance and Nathan for applying for funding, planning the repairs, ordering the supplies, organizing the tools and equipment and managing the volunteers.
Thank you to all the volunteers for your help: Derwent, Eric, Ernie, Marc, Peter, Rodger and Riley.

Volunteers from the Club and TMRS were tasked with repairing the "Great West Life Mobility Trail Bridge "located between the club's parking lot and the campground.
This project was possible with funding from RSTBC, and labour & equipment provided by Yellowhead Road & Bridge (Fort George) Ltd.

Club Volunteers cleaned up the old campsite located below the parking lot.
RSTBC will designate this site as "day use only" in the future.

Thanks to a wonderful group of club volunteers, the "Rond Creek FSR" is now open to all users.

The trail was brushed for 3.6 kms, and groomed at least 8-10 feet wide!
The trail is 80 percent cleaned, but be cautious of loose-lying sticks. Most sticks are short in length.

Another productive day for club volunteers!
The culvert on Dorothy Lake Trail has been realigned, and the trail is open again. We appreciate your patience as we improve the safety of our trails.
HUGE THANK YOU to Lance, Nathan, Ernie, Bernie, and George for their dedication. They left their loved ones behind on this Canada Day to volunteer their time and improve our trails for everyone’s benefit.

Ride with Care & Attention
The Burgess Trail was brushed from the trailhead to the OVR. However, the trail will require additional maintenance.
Lots of willows and rocks on the ground that will need to be removed for the safety of the riders and their off-road vehicles.
A workbee will be scheduled soon and will require lots of volunteers to remove all the debris from the trail.
Please be aware of these objects and ride with caution!

Volunteers were out for trail maintenance on Friday, June 5th to have the trails in top shape for the upcoming events for our club members.
April 2026 - Spring is here, and that means the Club is preparing for the riding season.
Volunteer club members were fabricating metal posts for signage to be installed on the trails. Thank you to Lance, Ernie, and Bernie.

The sign at the snowmobile club parking lot was finally replaced this weekend by volunteer club members.
Last year, this sign was used for shotgun target practice.
These signs are very expensive to replace.
April 6, 2026 - The parking lot is almost cleared of all the snow!
The club members will be busy on Sunday, April 12, with the cleanup of the parking lot from all the winter activities.
