Tabor Mountain has an extensive 407km multi-use trail system interlinking 27 staging areas that aims to provide diverse recreational opportunities for the local community, clubs, and the general public. This trail network area has both motorized (e.g. ATV'ing, Snowmobiling) and non-motorized (e.g. Cross-country Skiing, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking) clubs working together, under the Tabor Mountain Recreation Society, to develop a strong partnership with local stakeholders to diversify and maximize the tourism and recreational potential serving the community of Prince George.
We have a Partnership Agreement with Recreation Sites & Trails BC to help us achieve these goals.

Tabor Mountain Staging Area 10 - Dougherty Creek Recreation Site
The Dougherty Creek Recreation Site is part of the Tabor Mountain Trail System, and is located next to a staging area that accesses hundreds of kilometres of multi-use trails. The site has 13 camp pads, including 8 universally accessible sites, to provide an opportunity for people with mobility challenges. The site offers a flat and compact surface with accessible tables and outhouses. This site is also the access point for the Great West Life Mobility Nature Trail.
The accessible trail is approximately a 0.9km there and back trip that is suitable for use by people with mobility challenges, and provides for an excellent short trip through the beautiful and quaint forest surrounding Dougherty Creek.

The PGATV Club created a ‘’Shared GPS Tracks Folder’’ to share with club members. The tracks are hosted on the Gaia App.
How to Access Trails Using the Gaia GPS App
To search for trails, you don’t need to have an account or sign in to browse for trails: https://www.gaiagps.com. You don't need an account to view the tracks.
A free Gaia GPS account is required to download trails (to your Garmin GPS or other devices) or sync trails to the Gaia GPS app on your smartphone or tablet.
You can access other GPS Tracks from the Wikiloc App, which will redirect you to some of the Best ATV trails in British Columbia
