Parking Lot Clean Up at the Snowmobile Club - April
Thank you to all the volunteers for a great ”Work Bee” today! You are all amazing!
A special “Thank You” to all of you (16+ Club Members) and to Maurice (PG Snowmobile Club Member) for your hard work cleaning up the parking lot.
Many wooden pallets were burned around the parking lots, and tons of nails, broken glass, and garbage were picked up!
Brushing of Thursday Creek & George Creek Trails - June
25kms & 17 Volunteers!
Thank you to all the volunteers who showed up for the Trail Maintenance on Thursday Creek & George Creek. They brushed both trails, cleared the heavy blowdowns and fixed the ruts on the George Creek Trail! We appreciate the "work and time" you provided to the Prince George ATV Club to make sure the trails are ready for the 2025 Prince George - Wells Ride coming up soon!
Francis to Fish Lake Bridge Deck Replacement - June
On June 21, a dedicated group of 18 volunteers gathered to redeck a bridge on the Francis Lake trail. Their teamwork ensured the project was completed efficiently. Additionally, throughout June, club members conducted trail maintenance and brushing along several routes leading to Wells, including the Thursday Creek and George Creek trails, ensuring continued access and safety for all riders.
Brushing of Dorothy Lake & Frost Lake Trails and water mitigation - September
In September, volunteers and contractors resurfaced over 25 kilometres of trails on Tabor Mountain, including the hill at the Yamaha Cabin, ensuring safe and enjoyable conditions for all users. This project included significant improvements to the hill near the Yamaha Cabin, enhancing the trail network for future rides and events.

The club wishes to express sincere gratitude to all the volunteers who dedicated their time, as well as their private vehicles and equipment, to support the organization and success of club trails and events. Collectively, club members contributed more than 2,500 volunteer hours this year, making a vital difference to the club’s operations and offerings.
Through rain and sunshine, hard work and celebration, the Prince George ATV Club’s 2025 season stands as a testament to the power of enthusiasm, cooperation, and a shared love of adventure. With each passing year, the club continues to carve new trails—not just through the forests and hills of British Columbia, but in the hearts of its growing community.
